Are you a proactive Health & Safety professional looking to take the lead in a dynamic and expanding construction environment? Our client, a well-established medium-sized main contractor, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee projects across the Dublin area.
With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and teamwork, this contractor delivers a diverse range of commercial, residential, and industrial projects. They pride themselves on maintaining the highest standards of safety and are now looking for a dedicated professional to continue driving a positive safety culture across all sites.
As Health & Safety Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, supporting site teams, and championing safe working practices. Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining health & safety policies, procedures, and site-specific plans
• Conducting regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Providing guidance, training, and toolbox talks to site staff and subcontractors
• Investigating incidents, preparing reports, and recommending corrective actions
• Liaising with project managers, clients, and regulatory bodies
• Promoting a strong safety culture throughout all levels of the organisation
• 5+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction sector
• A recognised Health & Safety qualification (e.g., Nebosh, IOSH, Level 8 H&S degree, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of Irish construction regulations and best practice
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel between Dublin-based sites
