Electrical Supervisor – Data Centres – Dusseldorf

Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects

Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor in Dusseldorf.

Responsibilities

•   Supervision of Electrical Installation Works: Oversee all electrical installation activities on a live data centre site—including containment, cabling, panel installation, and distribution systems—ensuring works meet design specifications and mission-critical standards.
•   Team & Subcontractor Coordination: Lead and coordinate electrical crews and subcontractors, assign tasks, monitor workmanship, and ensure progress aligns with the programme and overall construction sequencing.
•   Technical Oversight & QA/QC: Review electrical drawings, highlight discrepancies, resolve technical issues on site, and ensure all installations adhere to German regulations, project requirements, and strict QA/QC procedures.
•   Health, Safety & Compliance: Enforce robust electrical safety practices, carry out toolbox talks, monitor safe systems of work, and ensure full compliance with site HSE rules and regulatory obligations.
•   Testing, Commissioning & Reporting: Support FAT/SAT processes, assist with testing and commissioning of electrical systems, maintain accurate site records, and provide regular progress updates to the Electrical Manager and project leadership.

Requirements

Must have Relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar large-scale construction projects
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Germany
