Electrical Commissioning Manager – Data Centre – Mons, Belgium – 3-4 month contract

Our client is a large and well-established MEP Sub-Contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major Mechanical & Electrical Packages on behalf of Tier:1 main contractors involved in ‘technology’ schemes including Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor plants and heavy industrial projects.

Due to continued growth, our client is now seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager to help them see out the completion of a Data Centre build in Mons.

Responsibilities

Commissioning Leadership: Plan, manage, and oversee all electrical commissioning activities to ensure systems are tested, energised, and handed over in line with client requirements.
Programme Management: Coordinate commissioning schedules, align with project milestones, and ensure timely completion within the 3–4 month project timeline.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems meet project specifications, client standards, and relevant EU regulations and safety requirements.
Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with MEP subcontractors, client representatives, and third-party specialists to resolve issues and ensure smooth project delivery.
Documentation & Reporting: Oversee preparation of commissioning reports, test documentation, and handover packages for client approval.

Requirements

Must have 8+ years experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar large scale construction projects
Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Belgium
