Our client, a leading and well-established contractor operating Nationwide, is looking for a dedicated local Site Manager for a commercial build project on an FTC basis for at least 12 months. As a Site Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all on-site activities of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within the budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves assisting the Site Manager in managing contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities on-site ensuring all work is performed in accordance with project schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
Help in leading and managing on-site construction teams, including contractors and subcontractors providing support to team members as needed.
Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks, ensuring all construction work meets the required quality standards and help to address any defects or issues.
Implement and enforce health and safety protocols on-site and report any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and site diaries ensuring all necessary permits, licenses, and approvals are obtained and documented.
Oversee the maintenance and operation of construction equipment.
Qualifications in Construction Management or related field.
Notable years of experience in a similar role within construction.
Strong verbal & written communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
