Our client, a leading delivery partner specialising in Data Centre Solutions with expertise spanning the entire lifecycle of data centre projects, is actively looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented M&E Quality Manager. As M&E Quality Manager you will be overseeing the quality assurance and quality control of all mechanical and electrical installations within the projects ensuring that all M&E systems meet design specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and the company’s quality standards. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within the budget without compromising quality.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Develop and implement a comprehensive M&E quality plan such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical wiring, fire protection, and other essential services.
Perform inspections and audits to ensure that all M&E work complies with project specifications, industry codes, and regulations.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify potential quality issues and ensure timely resolution.
Participate in project meetings to provide input on M&E quality issues, reporting on progress, and resolving quality concerns as they arise.
Oversee and manage all testing and commissioning of M&E systems, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to quality requirements.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports, ensuring all documentation is up to date and accurate ready for review or submission to senior management.
Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure they comply with quality requirements, performing audits and inspections, as necessary.
Review and approve quality-related submissions from subcontractors, such as material certificates, calibration certificates, and installation records.
Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience as M&E Quality Manager within construction preferably with strong background in Data Centre, Commercial, Industrial or Pharmaceutical.
Proven experience in M&E inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality control processes.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
