We are assisting a leading Main Contractor specialising in delivering high-quality services for a variety of industries in their search for a highly skilled & detail- oriented EHS Advisor. As EHS Advisor you are responsible for ensuring that the organisation complies with all environmental, health, and safety regulations promoting a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Support & report to the EHS Manager in maintaining and implementing the EHS standards & legislations promoting a safe working environment.
Provide guidance and support to management and employees on EHS best practices and procedures.
Carry out regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and environmental risks, implementing control measures to resolve identified risks.
Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Prepare, submit, and keep track of EHS reports/documentations to senior management and relevant stakeholders as required.
Develop, implement, and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
Serve as a key point of contact during emergencies, providing guidance and support to management and response teams.
Participate in meetings and contribute the best of your knowledge.
Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH, or equivalent safety qualifications are desirable.
2-3 years of experience in EHS roles within construction.
Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
Proficiency in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
