Position: Business Development Manager – Essex
Package: £35k - £45k + Excellent Package
Company Overview: Our client is a privately owned family business with commitment to their clients and the communities in which they work making them a partner of choice for clients and customers within the Public Sector specialising in social housing.
Our client has completed over 100 partnering and collaborative working arrangements, both strategic and project specific to a value of £500 million plus and currently have over 50 partnered projects either on site or at contract development stage.
Role: As Business Development Manager you will work in conjunction with the other BDM’s and Pre Construction department targeting the Public Sector, concentrating on New build and refurbishment contracts within Social Housing and Education sectors. The role involves meeting with current and past clients and consultants to obtain their feedback, identifying potential sources of future work, and developing client relationships to secure projects, proposing and organising events with key decision-makers to establish continued presence in the market.
Individual: The ideal candidate will have 2 – 5 years proven experience in building new and developing existing relationships in a Business Development role within the construction industry. The successful candidate will be looking to join an established contractor experiencing exciting growth where you can have real influence.
