Our client is a leading Fit-out Contractor who has projects in the UK, Ireland and all over Europe, due to continued growth we are looking to hire a dedicated Senior Construction Manager in our projects in London. As Senior Construction Manager you will be instrumental in the design and execution phases of our projects, primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations onsite, ensuring productivity, and meeting project’s success. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of engineers and industry experts to deliver innovative projects successfully. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage daily site operations, including supervision and monitoring of site personnel and project development. 

  • Ensure completion of weekly and daily work plans, striving to meet and exceed targets whenever possible. 

  • Coordinate construction activities, collaborating with consultants and subcontractors and participating in reviews. 

  • Maintain regular communication with site personnel to ensure availability of necessary resources and information for productive workweeks. 

  • Coordinate and oversee specialist subcontractors appointed for the project. 

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, developing, and enforcing works programs. 

  • Keep relevant project stakeholders informed of progress, costs, and any pertinent issues. 

  • Manage safety and quality aspects of the project in adherence to company protocols. 

  • Liaise with Quality Control and Safety Departments onsite. 

  • Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project. 

  • Programming responsibility from contract programme onwards: design and build 

  • Site set up and strategy including logistics 

  • Check contractors RAMS for approval, tickets records and allocate inductions. 

  • Check and Approve Benchmarks from contractors 

  • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to project completion with attention to budgetary limitations. 

Skills and Requirements: 

  • Essential background in the CAT A and CAT B Commercial Fit out industry. 

  • 3 years or more experience in the same role. 

  • Strong delegation and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with the wider project team is crucial. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • CSCS, SMSTS & FIRST Aid Site certifications are essential. 

  • Excellent IT skills
