Senior Building Services Engineer- Waterford, Ireland

€85,000-90,000 DOE + Excellent Package

Our company is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Building Services Engineer to be working in Waterford, Ireland. Our client is a Tier 1 contractor committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers top notch services currently involved in complex technical projects in life sciences, pharmaceutical and data centre schemes across Europe. As A Senior Building Services Engineer you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation & maintenance of the projects. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements: 

• Develop designs, specifications and drawings based on project requirements and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with structural engineers and other stakeholders to integrate building services systems into overall project designs.

• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of building services systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and site personnel.

• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges encountered during construction, testing, and commissioning activities.

• Lead inspections/quality checks to ensure that building services installations meet project specifications and standards.

• Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and support to address design issues and provide reliable solutions.

• Mentor and guide juniors providing technical expertise, training & support to facilitate their professional development.

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/ Building services or related field.

• 10 years’ experience in thesame role.

• Strong technical knowledge of MEP as well as building codes, regulations & standards.

• Civils/ Build Infrastructure experience is an advantage.

• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. 

• Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask. 

• Technically minded and have good team working & problem solving skills. 

• Excellent IT skills.
