Regional Planning Manager - Dublin

A distinguished data centre delivery partner headquartered in Dublin, currently involved in multiple turnkey data centre projects across Europe, is seeking a Regional Planning Manager. Based in Dublin with regular travel across Europe, this role reports directly to the Operations Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop bid programmes to support and complement bid submissions.
  • Create, maintain, and review detailed master construction programmes and project control procedures for live projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Directors and site teams to establish and maintain effective Project Planning Strategies and Programmes.
  • Engage in business development activities with new clients.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to review project progress, support risk identification, and engage in proactive problem-solving.
  • Establish and maintain project schedule resource requirements across all projects.
  • Develop and communicate tools for the effective target completion of project goals.
  • Provide performance updates and reports for the identification of variances and corrective actions.
  • Represent planning in Client and Subcontractor meetings.
  • Coach and develop members of the planning team, prioritize workloads, delegate effectively, and serve as a role model.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably with main contractor experience.
  • Proficient in programming software and BIM, with preference given to Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6.
  • Demonstrable experience in large-scale environments (project values €50 million +).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, people, and time management skills.
  • Ability to build robust relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
