Project Quantity Surveyor - Frankfurt
Our client is a leading provider of earthing and lightning protection installation and maintenance services across Europe and is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Commercial Manager and collaborate with the commercial and construction teams for successful project delivery.
- Manage relationships to optimize commercial returns and mitigate risks.
Key Tasks:
- Prepare monthly payment claim valuations to measure progress on-site.
- Submit timely invoices in accordance with the client schedule.
- Prepare variations as needed.
- Attend client meetings on-site.
- Provide client quotations/estimates.
- Collaborate with site management/supervisors.
- Maintain site records and control documents.
- Assess and manage risks and opportunities.
- Monthly reporting (CVRs).
- Cash management and cash flow forecasts.
- Implement the commercial strategy.
Experience & Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- 3+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects.
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- In-depth understanding of the construction industry and on-site work.
Qualifications/Training:
- Completed or currently pursuing a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction degree.
