Planning Manager/Project Control Manager - Netherlands - Data Centre 

As the Campus Planning Manager you will hold a crucial role in driving forward our project development and implementation endeavors. Collaborating closely with Project Directors, Contracts Managers, and a diverse team of engineers and industry professionals, you will contribute significantly to the success of this innovative project.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Provide support to the Project Management Team (PMT) in the development and execution of project programs.
  • Oversee and assist planning team members in effectively executing projects.
  • Proficiency in forensic planning and delay claim analysis.
  • Thorough understanding of Mechanical & Electrical systems.
  • Possess a relevant third-level qualification.
  • Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably including M&E contracting experience.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 software, with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Ability to analyze and challenge Main Contractor / General Contractor programs where necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning team in developing a detailed EPC construction schedule for baseline agreement with the client.
  • Conduct comprehensive health checks on schedules before baseline agreement for accuracy, integrity, and validation of critical paths.
  • Capability to generate fully resource-loaded schedules (cost, hours, commodities) and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely updating of construction schedules.
  • Monitor planned versus actual progress using Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Collaborate with team members to establish mechanisms for capturing and logging issues through appropriate change control processes.
  • Attend site meetings as necessary, both internal and client-based.
  • Monitor original versus actual budgets for scope growth/changes.
  • Oversee fabrication workshop production and site installation progress.
  • Track productivity of craft labor through Spent vs Earned hours.
  • Ensure timely completion of planning-related deliverables for weekly/monthly construction reports.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders.
