MEP Planner- Sweden

90,000-95,000 DOE + Accommodation + Living Allowance + Transport + Package

Our company is currently recruiting a dedicated MEP Planner to be working onsite in Sweden for a leading contractor committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers high quality services. The company is currently involved in complex technical projects in life sciences, pharmaceutical and data centre schemes across Europe. As MEP Planner you are expected to have a deep understanding of MEP Systems, excellent planning skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Establish detailed project schedules for MEP systems, including equipment installation, testing and commissioning in coordination with overall project schedules.

  • Team up with project managers, engineers and contractors to identify key milestones and critical path activities.

  • Manage scheduling softwares like Primavera P6, Microsoft project and ASTA powerproject to create and maintain accurate and up to date schedules.

  • Advance the Pre-construction, construction and commissioning programs.

  • Monitor resource utilisation and availability, identify potential issues and present reliable solutions.

  • Enhance the project control systems specific to the projects.

  • Responsible for WBS and Progress measurement systems.

  • Implement systems to track progress against the MEP Schedules including the regular updates, completed tasks, ongoing tasks and upcoming tasks.

  • Present progress reports for project stakeholders highlighting KPI, schedule delays and potential risks and solutions.

  • Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical discipline or Construction Management qualifications.

  •  7-10 years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Knowledgeable in Mechanical and Electrical systems.

  • Experience in life sciences, data centre & pharmaceutical is advantageous.

  • Mastery in BIM & Engineering process ( Pre-construction stage).

  • Knowledgeable in QA handover process & commissioning at project turnover stage.

  • Excellent delegation and organisational skills. 

  • Ability to work and collaborate with the wider project team. 

  • Strong communications and problem solving skills.
