Our company is currently recruiting for a dedicated Mechanical HVAC Project Engineer to be working onsite in Cork, Ireland for a leading engineering services contractor currently involved in complex technical projects in life sciences, pharmaceutical and data centre schemes across Europe. The organisation’s division includes Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection and also offer other exceptional services in Off Site Fabrication, Waste to Energy (BioEnergy),  Technical Support Services, Asset Management, Specialist Lift, Maintenance, BIM (Building Information Modelling) and Geo-Surveying. As a Mechanical HVAC Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our project development and implementation process. You will conduct technical assessments, prepare reports, coordinate with Stakeholders, and ensure project milestones are achieved while working closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to successfully deliver groundbreaking projects.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Report to the Project Manager on project progress, risks and issues.

  • Collaborate with the suppliers and specialist contractors to ensure equipment is successfully commissioned.

  • Ability to develop and review mechanical design with the project team.

  • Design reviews, validate equipment and systems.

  • Complete technical submittals, equipment registers and trackers.

  • Review Quality on site walking down systems to ensure compliance with the project team.

  • Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Degree is essential.

  • HVAC Experience is advantageous.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of building services is preferable.

  • Excellent IT skills.

  • Experience in Revit would be advantageous.

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

  • Ability to work as part of a large multi-disciplinary team.
