Our company is currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Manager to be working in London, UK for a leading contractor  committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers top notch services. As Mechanical Commissioning Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing and function of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Establish mechanical commissioning plans & programmes for mechanical systems following the project requirements, specifications and standards.

  • Work with the project team, designers and subcontractors to ensure that the commissioning activities are aligned into project schedules & workflows.

  • Supervise the execution of commissioning activities for mechanical systems to ensure proper installation, operation and performance.

  • Collaborate with the installation teams to conduct testing,performance verifications and system integration testing.

  • Ensure that mechanical systems comply with design specifications, regulatory standards & requirements and inspect to identify errors and deficiencies.

  • Work with project teams to develop solutions for errors or deficiencies and ensure timely resolution of commissioning related problems.

  • Keep track of accurate records of commissioning activities including tests procedures, inspection reports and equipment documentation.

  • Arrange commissioning reports & documentations ready for submission to clients and stakeholders.

  • Communicate with project teams to ensure smooth transaction & handover of commissioned systems to facility owners & operators.

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Proven track record in mechanical systems commissioning in the construction industry.

  • Knowledgeable in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems including design, installation and operation.

  • Knowledgeable in mechanical commissioning standards & guidelines.

  • Strong organisation, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Knowledgeable in commissioning software and tools.
