M&E Project Lead

Our client a multi-disciplinary engineering principal contractor operating in UK and Europe within the commercial, data centres,project sector require an electrically biased lead M&E  project manager to work on a £20m datacentre project based in Sweden . You will suitably be qualified with experience with both LV MV & HV systems and responsible for the execution of various stages of a project. Responsibilities in the start up phase will include overseeing the project team from estimating department to construction team, validating the project an, cost control system, cashflow and billable schedules, in addition to producing plans for procurement drawing / design plan, construction programme. You will also develop project safety and quality plans. During the project phase you will be responsible for the continuous review of onsite management competencies and the effective day to day running of site activities, auditing, and reporting of EHS procedure delivering site specific EHS & QAQC TBT when required, attending client meetings and engaging with sub-contractors in progress meetings including submitting monthly internal reports to the Operations Manager. In the project completion phase you will ensure testing and commissioning is carried out in accordance with the Quality Plan, ensure final design audit (if applicable) is carried out by the EM including certifying all ‘life systems’ in good time for handover date, handover O&M manual and record drawings and prepare final account with the QS, submit, and agree with client in line with company objective
