Our company is currently recruiting for dedicated Intermediate Mechanical Project Engineers to be working onsite in Billingham, UK for a leading engineering services contractor currently involved in complex technical projects in life sciences, pharmaceutical and data centre schemes across Europe. The organisation’s division includes Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sprinkler and Fire Protection and also offer other exceptional services in Off Site Fabrication, Waste to Energy (BioEnergy), Technical Support Services, Asset Management, Specialist Lift, Maintenance, BIM (Building Information Modelling) and Geo-Surveying.
Skills and Requirements
Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering
5+ years’ mechanical experience, preferably with a contractor in a site-based construction role
Ability to navigate Navisworks design models a distinct advantage
Experience on Pharmaceutical projects is a distinct advantage
Experience of document management system such as EIDA is a distinct advantage
Experience of hygienic piping is an advantage
Experience in producing contractor handover documents for a pharmaceutical installation is an advantage
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrates exceptional presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail is essential
Solves problems analytically and acts decisively
