Electrical Estimator - Cork
As an Electrical Estimator, you will hold a crucial role in our project development and implementation process. Collaborating closely with the Planning Manager, Project Manager, and a diverse team of engineers and industry specialists, you will contribute to the delivery of cutting-edge projects. This position is based in Cork.
Responsibilities:
- Tendering on various large-scale projects, including commercial, pharmaceutical, data centers, healthcare, etc.
- Participating in the entire tender process from inception to completion.
- Maintaining ongoing communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Providing managers with updates on bid prospects.
- Attending pre and post-tender interviews.
- Compiling sub-contract quotes while ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Participating in internal and client-based meetings as required.
- Completing take-offs from tender drawings.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of expertise in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, construction, and other sectors. The successful candidate will receive support in developing their knowledge and skills as their responsibilities grow and evolve.
Skills and Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A degree qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- A trade background would be advantageous.
- Experience in pharmaceutical projects is beneficial, demonstrating familiarity with industry best practices and technologies.
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent interpersonal abilities, capable of effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office systems is required.
- Demonstrated eagerness for continuous learning and personal development.
- 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
