Building Services Manager- Waterford, Ireland

€90,000-95,000 DOE + Excellent Package

Our company is currently recruiting an experienced Building Services Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of our projects in Waterford, Ireland. Our client is a Tier 1 contractor committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers top notch services that are currently involved in complex technical projects in life sciences, pharmaceutical and data centre schemes across Europe. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements includes:

  • Incharge of the planning & coordination of the construction projects including new builds, renovations and fitouts.

  • Manage project schedules, budgets & resource plans for building services activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives & timelines.

  • Conduct quality inspections & audits of installations, identifying errors and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

  • Review drawings, specifications and submittals to verify accuracy, completeness and adherence to project requirements.

  • Provide technical expertise & guidance on design, installation & commissioning.

  • Implement & enforce health & safety policies for building services activities ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and promote safe working practices.

  • Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders ensuring the project goals and expectations are met.

  • Attending meetings and presenting ideas and progress reports to managers and clients. 

  • Guiding the clients on how the building services will operate once the building is complete. 

  • Degree in Building Services /Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 

  • 10-15 years’ experience in Building Services Management role.

  • Civils/ Builds infrastructure experience is an advantage.

  • Proven leadership and managerial skills.

  • Technically minded and have good team working & problem solving skills. 

  • Excellent IT Skills. 

  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. 

  • Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask.
