€75,000-80,000 DOE+Package 

Our client is a top tier main contractor in Ireland looking for a Bid Manager. This role will be office based in Dundrum. The successful candidate will take charge of managing bids from inception to completion, contributing to our bid pipeline's success.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the Group Estimating Director to establish estimating approaches and strategies, including value propositions, methodologies, and delivery approaches. 

  • Engage with the Construction Team to provide comprehensive explanations of estimates, scopes of work, quotes, and offer aspects for successful project transition post-bid acceptance. 

  • Schedule and facilitate meetings, managing communication and coordination among various individuals and departments. 

  • Make clear, concise, and comprehensive content to contribute to cohesive tender submissions in coordination with various disciplines. 

  • Work closely with other departments and stakeholders, to gather accurate and high-quality information for bid development within specified deadlines. 

  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in extracting and summarizing bid documents for distribution among involved parties. 

  • Independently manage bids of diverse scales from initiation to conclusion, exhibiting strong managerial skills in coordinating across multiple disciplines. 

  • Lead innovation in bid processes and materials, continuously seeking to enhance estimating approaches and strategies. 

  • Coordinate team communications across multiple disciplines. 

Key Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying. 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience. 

  • With a proven track record of managing BID submissions for projects across Data Centers, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Commercial and Residential. 

  • Excellent IT Skills. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. 

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. 

  • Strong multitasking abilities and adeptness at managing competing priorities. 

  • Outstanding communication skills with a demonstrable ability to convey information effectively. 

  • Excellent administrative and record-keeping skills. 

  • Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills.
