Our company is currently recruiting an experienced Bid Manager/Bid Coordinator to be working onsite in Central London, UK for a leading contractor with a turnover of £150 million, committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers high quality services. As a BID Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire BID Management process from opportunity identification to proposal submission and contract negotiation. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities includes:

  • Lead the preparation of bid documents, including technical proposals, pricing schedules, and qualification statements, in collaboration with project teams and subject matter experts.

  • Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain quotes, pricing, and other required information for bid submissions.

  • Ensure that bid packages are submitted accurately, professionally, and on time, in accordance with client requirements and specifications.

  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits to gather information and demonstrate our capabilities and qualifications.

  • Negotiate contract terms, conditions, and pricing with clients to secure favourable agreements that meet project objectives and goals.

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.

  • Remarkable 2-5 years' experience as BID Manager in a construction backround.

  • With a proven track record of managing BID submissions for projects across Data Centers, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Commercial and Residential. 

  • Strong understanding of construction methods and best practices.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills.

  • Proficiency in BID Management softwares(INDESIGN and Microsoft packages).

  • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
